The Market Research Analyst is responsible for gathering and analyzing data on consumer behavior, market trends, and competitors to inform strategic business decisions. This role involves conducting market research, analyzing marketing and campaign performance data, and providing actionable insights to improve ROI, customer engagement, and overall campaign effectiveness. The Market Research Analyst will use a variety of analytics tools and research methods to deliver data-driven recommendations that support the company’s marketing, product development, and business growth objectives.

PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES



  • Market Research and Data Collection, Gather and analyze data on consumer behavior, market conditions, and competitors through surveys, focus groups, and other research methods to inform strategic decisions.

  • Campaign Performance Analysis, analyze marketing campaign performance data, including ROI, customer engagement, and sales figures, to evaluate the effectiveness of marketing strategies and suggest improvements.

  • Consumer Insights, conduct research to uncover key consumer insights, including preferences, buying behavior, and demographic trends. Use this information to guide product development and marketing initiatives.

  • Data Interpretation and Reporting, Interpret and synthesize complex data sets into clear, actionable reports and presentations. Provide insights to stakeholders to help them make informed decisions.

  • Survey Design and Implementation, Design and administer surveys to collect consumer feedback and insights. Analyze survey results to identify trends and provide recommendations based on the data.

  • Competitive Analysis, monitor competitor activity and market trends, delivering insights on competitor strategies, market positioning, and emerging opportunities.

  • Performance Tracking and KPI Monitoring, Track key performance indicators (KPIs) related to marketing and campaign success, using tools such as Google Analytics, Excel, and Power BI. Identify patterns and recommend actions to optimize future campaigns.

  • Collaboration with Marketing and Product Teams, work closely with marketing, product, and sales teams to ensure that market research aligns with business goals and contributes to effective marketing and product strategies.

  • Trend Analysis and Forecasting, analyze market and consumer trends to forecast future demand and identify potential opportunities or risks for the business.


TIME RECORDING:



  • Accurately record client billable time and value of service when working on client projects, handle pricing, invoicing and collection of outstanding fees for the portfolio of clients.

  • Monitor own productivity and client billing and review productivity and performance against targets. to ensure that individual financial targets and client communication KPIs are met.

  • Follow a disciplined approach to submitting timesheets for client work and meet the financial individual and team targets.


OTHER DUTIES



  • Undertake the role of director, trustee, nominee, manager, partner, secretary, authorized signatory or any related position in internal entities or client entities of Amicorp Group, where necessary and required by the Management.

  • Undertake such other duties, related to the position, as may from time to time be agreed with Management.


Qualifications, Skills, and Experience



  • 2-4 years of experience in market research, data analysis, or marketing analytics.

  • Proven experience in analyzing marketing performance data and consumer insights to inform business decisions.

  • Experience using analytics tools such as Google Analytics, Excel, Power BI, or similar platforms.

  • Data Analysis and Interpretation, Strong ability to analyze and interpret data from various sources, including surveys, consumer data, and campaign performance metrics, to provide actionable insights.

  • Market Research Expertise, Experience in designing, conducting, and analyzing market research, including consumer surveys, focus groups, and competitor analysis.

  • Analytical Tools Proficiency, Proficiency in using analytics tools such as Google Analytics, Excel, Power BI, and other data analysis platforms to track and analyze performance metrics.

  • Survey Design and Implementation, Expertise in designing and implementing surveys to gather consumer insights and feedback.

  • Communication and Reporting Skills, Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present complex data in a clear and actionable format for stakeholders.

  • Critical Thinking and Problem-Solving, Ability to think critically, solve problems, and provide strategic recommendations based on data insights and trends.

  • Takes initiative, positive and proactive, dedicated, focused and target driven.

  • Excellent client facing skills. Well-developed spoken and written communication skills and the ability to tailor style to relevant audiences and successfully liaise with people at different levels.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, solution driven, highly organized and detail-orientated with good decision making and time management skills. Independent, hands-on and takes accountability to deliver solutions and results.

  • Ability to adapt and work under pressure in a smaller, dynamic local team environment; along with being part of a bigger matrix organization. Proven leadership and team player skills, with ambition to excel in the role.

  • Excellent English language fluency: additional languages preferred.

  • Willing to travel within the country and outside the country when required.
