María Cecilia Rachadell

María Cecilia Rachadell joins Amicorp in Miami as the Managing Director. María Cecilia is a summa cum laude lawyer graduate from the Universidad Católica Andrés Bello in Caracas, Venezuela; she also has an LL.M from Harvard Law School.
María Cecilia is an experienced international business lawyer with knowledge specifically related to the Latin American market; she has a solid background in corporate matters, mergers and acquisitions, banking, finance, and capital markets. Before joining Amicorp, she was co-managing partner of the law firm InterJuris Abogados, where she co-led the corporate and banking practices of the firm. She was Foreign Legal Consultant in DLA Piper and of Counsel in Squire Sanders (currently, Squire Patton Boggs). Before that, Maria Cecilia's career has predominantly been with leading Venezuelan law firms.
Throughout her career, María Cecilia has received numerous accolades, the most recent awards being Best Finance Lawyer in Latin America by the Americas Women in Business Law Awards in 2015, Top 100 Female Lawyers in Latin America by Latinvex in 2016, Lawyer of the Year in Venezuela by the Chambers Women in Law Award in 2018, and Venezuelan Women Leader by IFLR1000 in 2020 and 2021.
