Daniel is a Spanish national. He holds a JD and a master´s degree in tax law from ESADE (Barcelona-1999). He also completed an advanced Ph.D. studies degree in taxation (DEA) at the University of Barcelona and has a master of science in taxation from Fordham University (New York). Daniel is enrolled to practice before the U.S. Internal Revenue Service and is a member of the Barcelona bar.
He is a tax professional with more than 20 years of experience in both the US and Europe. Daniel spent 16 years as an international tax advisor with PwC, first in their Barcelona and Luxembourg offices and later in their New York office, where he spent most of his career and led the Spanish inbound network in the US.
His experience also includes positions as Tax Director at Huawei based in Silicon Valley, where he was responsible of tax policy for the Americas region, and Global Head of the tax department at UiPath, a leader in Robotic Process Automation headquartered in New York.
Daniel held various leadership positions in the New York based Spain-US Chamber of Commerce, including its Vice Presidency for five years. He has also been a speaker at numerous events, including the Bloomberg BNA Tax Leadership Forums.
