Toine Knipping
Chief Executive Officer, CEO
Toine is the Chief Executive Officer and a Co-Founder of Amicorp Group and Amicorp Community Foundation. Toine holds the top executive responsibility for the strategic development of Amicorp Group. As the person responsible for product development of the company, he is involved in designing solid solutions, based on legal, political and emotional changes in the international tax planning arena, as well as the development of new offices and markets globally. Toine regularly speaks at international conferences on solid modern financial structuring, as well as on impact investments for High Net Worth Individuals, encouraging wealthy people to use their money for development purposes rather than mere accumulation of wealth.
Toine's past professional experience includes positions with Antillean Management Corporation Amaco; the McLaughlin Bank (Supervisory Director); Banco de Venezuela (Interim Branch Manager); and Safra Bank (Managing Director). Additional financial experience includes Credit Lyonnais Bank in the Netherlands and Chase Manhattan Bank in both New York City, and in Amsterdam, the Netherlands.
He studied Business Administration and Dutch Commercial Law at the University of Brabant in Tilburg and holds an LL.M. ("Mr.") degree. He is a graduate with an Executive MBA of INSEAD which he attended in both Fontainebleau and Singapore.
As for his professional activities, for many years Toine has been a member of the board of CIFA (Curaçao International Financial Association), and holds a membership with the International Tax Planning Association (ITPA).
Toine is involved in development of real estate for commercial and community development purposes in several parts of the world. Through the African Caribbean Aloe Development he is also engaged in South Africa with the development and production of aloe vera based drinks, ingredients for the pharmaceutical industry and organic cosmetics. He is the promoter of the Shared Universe Ventures Fund to re-develop an area in South Africa for protecting and breeding of endangered species where HNWI's can get involved to help save and improve our environment.
Toine has authored many articles and a few books; 'Mind your Business' is a book on how to do business in an ethical and holistic way and achieve happiness in the process.
Toine is fluent in Dutch, English, Spanish, French and German.
