Peter Biggs

Chief Financial Officer, CFO

Peter is a South African national whose work experience has included South Africa, London, Singapore, Zurich, and now Barcelona, Spain.

Peter is a qualified Chartered Accountant (South Africa), and was admitted to the South African Institute of Chartered Accountants in 2004 (a membership he holds to date). In addition, he holds a Bachelor of Commerce degree in Accounting (cum laude), as well as an Honors degree specializing in Financial Accountancy, Management Reporting, Taxation, and Economics.

His work experience began in the audit industry of South Africa where he completed his training contract, whilst based in Durban with Baker Tilly Morrison Murray as an Audit Manager.

Peter continued his professional career thereafter in London, focusing on Financial Reporting for a leading UK Bank, where he spent several years before relocating to Singapore where he specialized in Financial Reporting for Structured Finance, Bond Syndication, and Special Purpose Securitization vehicles within Debt Capital Markets.

He joined Amicorp in 2012 as a Director and member of the Local Management Team of Singapore, concentrating on the operational aspects of a growing branch. With this experience gained he relocated to Zurich from 2013 to 2016, as Managing Director and branch manager for Amicorp Switzerland A.G, Zurich.

In 2017 Peter joined the Amicorp Board of Directors as Chief Financial Officer, based in Barcelona, Spain.
