PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
SALES - AIFM PLATFORM
- Originate new fund mandates and investment platforms using the AIFM structure.
- Identifying and originating fund sponsors and asset managers seeking to launch EU-regulated AIF structures
- Structuring third-party AIFM mandates for investment managers
- Developing relationships with Private equity sponsors, Real estate investment managers, Venture capital firms, Family offices, Emerging asset managers, Institutional investors
- Advising promoters on structuring European Alternative Investment Funds, Feeder–master structures, Co-investment vehicles, Deal-by-deal funds, Investment holding platforms
- Generating mandates for AIFM services, Investment management oversight, fund administration, regulatory hosting platforms
- Position Amicorp’s AIFM platform as a third-party management company solution.
- Marketing the AIFM platform to non-EU managers seeking EU access, emerging managers without licenses, family offices launching funds, investment boutiques
- Explaining regulatory advantages including EU AIFMD passport, governance infrastructure, regulatory compliance, operational platform
- Structuring mandates where the investment manager retains investment strategy control while the AIFM provides regulatory oversight.
- Develop sales strategy and execute ambitious plans which identify sales opportunities as well as new products and services for identified markets/ clients.
- Drive sales by exhibiting commercial leadership with respect to all sales activities in order to achieve/ exceed individual sales targets consistently, by developing new business opportunities and proactively ensuring closure of prospects.
- Leverage and build relationships, thus developing new opportunities and leads with existing and/or new clients through the network.
- Organize & represent the company at seminars and other industry-related networking events;
- Lead, coordinate & conduct marketing activities and maintain an active and current pipeline of the prospects at all times.
PRODUCT STRUCTURING AND INVESTMENT MANAGEMENT
- Provide structuring guidance to clients on designing investment vehicles compatible with the AIFM platform.
- Advising sponsors on private equity fund structures, real estate funds, venture capital vehicles, infrastructure funds, private credit strategies
- Assisting in the design of fund governance structures, investment committees, risk oversight frameworks, liquidity structures
- Supporting development of fund documentation, investment policies, investor materials
- Working with legal advisors and internal teams on structuring AIF vehicles.
- Financial modelling: Identify main business KPIs, analyze company’s traction, define financial projections, conduct valuation analysis and assess the impact of proposed transactions.
- Prepare the investment document to present to the Board, summarizing investment information, highlighting key value drivers, and assessing main risks of the operation.
- Monitor and manage companies´ portfolio, providing strategic guidance and support to drive growth and value creation.
- Support the acquisition/disinvestment process, and due diligence, working together with external providers.
SALES ACTIVITY RECORDING AND DELIVERY
- Accurately record sales details in the Sales CRM
- Monitor own productivity and continuously review performance against the sales target.
- Follow a disciplined approach to submitting sales pipeline in the CRM and track closing of sales/ deals.
- Ensure Sales Plans are submitted on time; and detailed Sales Trip Reports are submitted after business tips.
- Ensure all daily and weekly deliverables are met, all deadlines are always adhered to; and targets are always met.
OTHER DUTIES
- Undertake the role of director, trustee, nominee, manager, partner, secretary, authorized signatory or any related position in internal entities or client entities of Amicorp Group, where necessary and required by the Management.
- Undertake such other duties, as may from time to time, be required by the Management or/ and Group Human Resources.
Qualifications, Skills, and Experience
- Minimum bachelor´s degree with post-graduation, with over 10+years of experience in Structured Finance, Asset Management related to Real Estate investments
- Commercial drive and a proven ability to penetrate the required market and ensure closure of sales.
- Takes initiative, positive and proactive, dedicated, focused and revenue and sales target driven.
- Exhibits strong leadership, social & interpersonal skills; a positive can-do attitude and creativity.
- Experience in team leadership, with a hands-on approach to getting things done.
- Strong quantitative skills and knowledge of investments, asset allocation and portfolio management.
- Should demonstrate strong ability to review and analyze financial statements.
- Proven transactions track record and a keen interest and understanding of the PE/VC ecosystem, market dynamics, and emerging trends.
- international experience is desirable.
- Knowledge and experience in developing economies, BRICS, would be a plus.
- Solid understanding of portfolio risk and being able to run attribution analyses on investment data.
- Strong skills in financial modelling
- Detail driven mindset, takes initiative, positive and proactive, dedicated, focused and revenue and target driven.
- Excellent leadership, organizational, interpersonal and communication skills. Successful team management experience including performance management and employee development.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills (verbal and written) - excellent client facing skills. Welldeveloped spoken and written communication skills and the ability to tailor style to relevant audiences and successfully liaise with people at different levels.
- Excellent English language fluency; additional languages preferred.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, solution driven, highly organized and detail orientated with good decision making and time management skills.
- Independent, hands-on and takes accountability to deliver solutions and results.
- Ability to adapt and work under pressure in a smaller, dynamic local team environment; along with being part of a bigger matrix organization. Proven leadership and team player skills, with ambition to excel in the role.
- Willing to travel within the country and outside the country when required.
