The role holder is responsible for the analysis of quarterly, interim, and/ or annual financial statements in the banking and insurance industry in both local and foreign countries.

PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES



  • In charge of the analysis of financial statements of clients; intensive and extensive exposure to the face of the banks and insurances' financial presentations.

  • Maintains the quality of Amicorp methodologies in spreading financial data to the UBT and UIT as consistent with client’s methodologies.

  • Provides accountability to the accounts processed to retain client’s trust and confidence.

  • Rechecking published accounts to capture method of data entry.

  • Ensure that the accounts processed are accurate.

  • Analyses of quarterly, interim, and/or annual financial statements under banking and insurance industry both from local and foreign countries. The job concentrates on the balance sheet, income statement, and salient sections in the notes to financial statements including but not limited to, the liquidity risks, credit risks, fair value hierarchy of financial instruments, value-at-risk, type per industry of loans, reinsurance share notes, gross premiums written notes and insurance policies notes, where important amounts shall be captured/spread in the Universal Bank Template, and Universal Insurance Template using the Microsoft Excel.

  • Responds to client requests such as FDR Notifications to ensure that up-to-date and uniform methods of spreading data are applied.


OTHER DUTIES



  • Undertake the role of director, trustee, nominee, manager, partner, secretary, authorized signatory or any related position in internal entities or client entities of Amicorp Group, where necessary and required by the Management.

  • Undertake such other duties, related to the position, as may from time to time be agreed with Management.


Qualifications, Skills, and Experience



  • BS Degree in Accounting or any Accounting related course; preferably a Licensed Accountant (CPA/CMA) with work experience with Banking, Insurance or Financial Institutions is an advantage. Equivalent combination of education and experience

  • Able to handle and analyze large amounts of complex/very detailed information

  • Able to work alone efficiently with minimum supervision, minimal guidance and manage priorities and work flow.

  • Attentive to details and accurate.

  • Strong analytical and interpretative skills.

  • Maintain knowledge and stay abreast of developments in the fields of business and finance.

  • Strong analytical skills, including ability to gather and analyze a variety of information pertaining to issues and to develop appropriate recommendations for action.

  • Ability to define problems, collect data establish facts and draw valid conclusions.

  • Self-motivated and able to follow through to end of assignments while meeting goals and deadlines.

  • Ability to work effectively in an atmosphere of multiple projects, shifting priorities, and deadline pressure.

  • Proven ability to effectively use MS Office including databases and spreadsheets.\

  • Excellent client facing skills. Well-developed spoken and written communication skills and the ability to tailor style to relevant audiences, and successfully liaise with people at different levels. Excellent English language fluency; additional languages like Chinese, Japanese, Korean or Bahasa preferred.

  • Strong analytical and problem solving skills, solution driven, highly organized and detail-orientated with good decision making and time management skills. Independent, hands-on and takes accountability to deliver solutions and results.

  • Ability to adapt and work in a smaller, dynamic local team environment; along with being part of a bigger matrix organization. Proven team player skills, with ambition to excel in the role.
