Main Responsibilities
- Develop high-quality, engaging, and original content for a variety of channels, including blogs, articles, website copy, email newsletters, social media posts, whitepapers, case studies, and more.
- Write SEO-optimized content to enhance organic search rankings and increase site traffic.
- Collaborate with the marketing team to brainstorm content ideas that align with brand strategy, product launches, and campaign objectives.
- Adapt writing style and tone to match the voice and personality of the different clients, ensuring consistency across all content.
- Contribute to the development and execution of the content strategy, ensuring alignment with business objectives and marketing campaigns.
- Conduct audience research to understand target demographics, preferences, and behavior, adapting content to meet their needs.
- Identify opportunities for content improvement and innovation based on industry trends and competitor analysis.
- Develop content calendars and manage the workflow to ensure content is delivered on time and aligned with marketing initiatives.
- Edit and proofread content created by other team members to ensure high standards of quality, accuracy, and brand alignment.
- Ensure that all content adheres to the company’s style guide, is grammatically correct, and is free from errors.
- Work closely with the content manager to establish and enforce quality standards for all written materials.
- Collaborate with the SEO team to incorporate keywords, meta descriptions, and other SEO best practices into written content.
- Continuously improve content based on SEO performance metrics and user engagement data.
- Use SEO tools and analytics to monitor the performance of content and make data-driven adjustments to improve rankings and engagement.
- Conduct in-depth research to ensure content is accurate, informative, and adds value to the audience.
- Stay updated on industry trends, competitor content, and audience behavior to create relevant and timely content.
- Gather insights from analytics, customer feedback, and social media to understand what types of content resonate with the audience.
- Work with cross-functional teams, including product marketing, social media, design, and sales, to ensure content aligns with broader company goals.
- Participate in content brainstorming sessions, contributing ideas for upcoming campaigns, and providing constructive feedback.
Qualifications, skills, and experience
- Bachelor’s degree in English, Journalism, Communications, Marketing, or a related field.
- 10+ years of experience in content writing, copywriting, or content marketing, preferably within B2B and B2C setting working with clients who are multi-national from different industries
- Proven experience producing a wide range of content types, including long-form articles, blogs, case studies, and email marketing.
- Strong portfolio demonstrating high-quality writing, creativity, and versatility in tone and style.
- Familiarity with content management systems (CMS) such as WordPress, HubSpot, or Contentful.
- Basic knowledge of graphic design tools (e.g., Canva, Adobe Creative Suite) to collaborate effectively with design teams.
- Experience with email marketing tools like Mailchimp, HubSpot, or Salesforce Marketing Cloud.
- Knowledge of social media best practices and experience in creating content for social platforms.
- Strong command of the English language, with impeccable grammar, spelling, and punctuation.
- Ability to develop content that aligns with broader marketing objectives and supports strategic goals.
- Excellent proofreading and editing skills, with a meticulous eye for detail and accuracy.
- Knowledge of SEO principles and the ability to interpret analytics to inform content decisions.
- Ability to create fresh, engaging, and original content ideas that capture the target audience’s attention.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work well within a team environment, contributing to a positive team culture.
- Ability to adjust tone, voice, and style to match various channels and audience segments.
