Amicorp ESG Services

Amicorp has launched a new service line to help investors and businesses analyze, report and develop their Environmental, Social and Governance (“ESG”) performance levels – and address mounting regulatory requirements.

The new Amicorp ESG Services come at a time when financial markets participants within the European Union – including asset managers, private equity and venture capital funds, banks and institutional investors – are required under the Sustainable Finance Disclosure Regulation (“SFDR”) to now report their sustainable economic activities on an annual basis.

Large and listed businesses operating within the EU now face similar mandatory reporting demands as part of the Corporate Sustainability Reporting Directive (“CSRD”), as do those in India as part of the Business Responsibility and Sustainability Report (“BRSR”) framework introduced by the Securities and Exchange Board of India (“SEBI”), as do issuers operating in certain sectors in Singapore – in the financial, food and forest products, or energy sectors, with more sectors to be added to that list next year.
Other regulatory authorities around the world are also exploring ESG frameworks and standards and are also expected to follow suit in the future.

Amicorp ESG Services are designed to help asset and fund managers, institutional investors and businesses to quickly and easily comply with these tightening regulations and provide the support and insights needed to plan and build an ESG strategy that aligns with their goals and values, including those who may not be bound by mandatory reporting requirements at the moment.

Many businesses are creating strategies and placing a greater emphasis on ESG commitments, not because of regulatory pressures, but as a way of building positive reputations among customers, investors and employees, and as a means of improving financial performances through associated operational cost and energy savings.

Our platform, powered by one of the leading credit and business information companies, analyzes all the required data points – including Scope 1, 2 and 3 emission levels – and provides an independent and auditable ESG Report that can be shared with regulators, stakeholders and shareholders.
It also provides an ESG Rating and a light Gap Analysis using the latest industry benchmarks, to help businesses identify any shortcomings and highlight where improvements can be made.

To add to that, our team will be offering a consultancy service that works with the business to plan, develop and execute an ESG strategy to suit their goals and ambitions. Our consultants can:

  • Help diagnose your current ESG positioning, and then create an action plan to bridge any gaps to achieve short and long-term goals
  • Help draft ESG policies and build engagement and commitment among internal and external stakeholders
  • Help identify and manage the right ESG-related initiatives to support your ambitions – including potential options available through our Amicorp Community Foundation
