Xander is a Dutch national, born in Deventer, The Netherlands. Xander holds a degree in both Public Administration and Corporate & Business Law from the Erasmus University of Rotterdam, and studied one year of Spanish Civil & Commercial Law at the University of Granada.

With Amicorp since 1994, Xander has fulfilled various positions. He collaborated in establishing Belanda Corporation, a management company in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, (former part of the Amicorp Group) as well as Amicorp Denmark. He was also Co-Managing Director of the Pinnacle Bond Fund N.V., a Netherlands Antilles mutual fund under supervision of the Netherlands Authority for Financial Markets and the Netherlands Antilles Central Bank.

From July 2000 through August 2005 Xander was General Managing Director of the Amicorp Curaçao office, then the largest of Amicorp's offices. In September 2005 Xander relocated to Barcelona, Spain; he currently holds the position of Chief Operations Officer.

Xander has lectured at the Caribbean International University in Curaçao (2002) and at the International Tax Seminar in Caracas, Venezuela (2004). Also he has written an article on "The Netherlands Antilles New Fiscal Regime and the amended Tax Arrangement for the Kingdom of The Netherlands".

Xander speaks Dutch, English, Spanish, German, Portuguese and French.
