Tony Izelaar is a Dutch national who joined the Amsterdam office in 2015 after having managed the Amicorp Monaco office.
From 1981 until 1996 Tony worked for KPMG in the Netherlands. In 1990 he moved to Curaçao where he worked for Holland Intertrust.
In 1993 he graduated as a Dutch chartered accountant (RA). Between 1995 and 2005 he was a founder and owner of BDO Accountants & Consultants. In conjunction with his duties he was also the CFO of a Netherlands Antilles subsidiary of a major Dutch publishing company, listed on the Dutch stock exchange, and responsible for international finance affairs of this subsidiary.
Early 2005 Tony decided to become a co-shareholder in a Monaco based company, called Jason s.a.m., also active in the fiduciary services industry. In 2013 this company was taken over by the Amicorp Group and Tony remained on board as a director of Amicorp s.a.m. until his relocation to Amsterdam.
Tony speaks Dutch, English, German and conversational French. His family include a daughter and two sons. In his spare time he enjoys cycling, playing golf, reading and watching films.
