Niels van Linder, born in the Netherlands, studied at the Rotterdam Erasmus University where he obtained the Master of Laws title ("Meester in de Rechten') in Netherlands Corporate Law, Netherlands Tax Law and International Tax Law.
After having worked as tax advisor in the Netherlands for several years, he moved to Tel Aviv, Israel where he worked for over three years as international tax adviser.
Niels has much experience in tax efficient structuring for cross-border trading, financing, licensing and investment and is very knowledgeable with issues like the regime for corporate income and capital gains taxes in most European and Asian countries, Double Taxation Agreements and their applications to cross-border transactions and withholding taxes with particular reference to the triangle Europe, South America and Asia. He has travelled extensively giving him the advantage of being multicultural.
Niels joined Amicorp as director with the Amicorp do Brazil office in the São Paulo Following five and a half years with this office he moved to Rio de Janeiro where he setup the Amicorp Representative Office in Rio de Janeiro, he was Director there for a year. As of September 2006, Niels has been active in Asia, working from Amicorp Singapore in marketing and product development. In July of 2007 Niels was relocated to Mumbai in India to take the position of managing director of Amicorp Mumbai. He speaks six languages.
