Joe Teng is a Dutch National and a Permanent Resident of Singapore. He joined Amicorp in March of 2005.
Joe has been living in South East Asia since 1992. He lived in Jakarta from 1992 to 1998 where he worked in both the Asset Management as the Securities Industry. In 1998 he moved to Singapore. Joe has extensive experience and knowledge of the wealth management industry and has been actively involved in the set up of fiduciary structures for Indonesian families. In addition, he has in depth knowledge of the Indonesian economy, business environment and culture.
Joe has a degree in tax law from the University of Amsterdam. He started his career with Theodoor Gilissen Bankiers in Amsterdam. He moved to Jakarta in 1992 where he worked for a short while in the emerging local asset management industry before joining PT DBS Securities Indonesia in 1993. In 1998 he moved to Singapore to join Dresdner Private Banking as team head, covering the Indonesian and Malaysian markets. In the year of 2001 he moved to Commerzbank in Singapore where he focused more on wealth management issues. Before joining Amicorp Singapore, Joe was Vice President at DBS Private Banking.
Joe speaks Dutch, English, and has knowledge of German, French and Indonesian.
