Matthijs Bogers is a Dutch National. He has been active in the financial services industry since 1986 in various positions and has a wealth of experience in private banking, asset management, and fund and trust services.

Matthijs started his career in the banking sector and has worked for Bank van der Hoop Offers NV, Banque de Suez Nederland NV and H. Wesselius & Co NV, all private investment banks in the Netherlands.

In 1992 he joined the Bayard Group, an international group of Trust companies that was active in the fields of incorporation, domiciliation, management and administration of companies, as well with the set-up and administration of investment vehicles. He moved to Luxembourg in October 1992 to set-up and to manage the offices of the Bayard Group. Later, the Insinger Group, an international financial services institution rendering banking, asset management and trust services acquired the Bayard Group. In 1999 he joined the Luxembourg Asset Management Division of the Insinger Group in capacity as Manager Finance and Control.

Matthijs joined Amicorp in 2001 in connection with the opening of the Amicorp office in Luxembourg where he has since been Managing Director of this office. Matthijs speaks Dutch, English, and French and has good knowledge of German.
