Margaret is born and raised in Curaçao, the Netherlands Antilles. In 1974 she moved to the Netherlands where, from 1974 to 1976, she studied Dutch Law at the University of Nijmegen and worked from 1980 until 1982.
From 1978 to 1979 she attended Schoevers Institute in Nijmegen, the Netherlands and graduated as a Business Secretary. She also holds a degree in Business Law and Corporate Law from the Institute for Social Sciences, The Hague.
In 1983 she moved to Surinam where she worked until 1990 for the Postal Services, heading the Project Postal Law and Regulations for the autonomy of this organization.
She returned to Curaçao, the Netherlands Antilles, in 1990 where she worked as a Legal Assistant for the Antillean Management Corporation Amaco N.V.
Margaret started her career with the Amicorp Group in 1992 at the Curaçao office where she held various positions before being appointed in 1995 as Managing Director. In August of 2004 Margaret relocated to Barcelona, Spain; she currently holds the position of Chief Internal Organization Officer.
Margaret speaks fluently Dutch and English and has good knowledge of French, German, Portuguese and Spanish. |
