Geralda is a Dutch national, born in Curaçao, the Netherlands Antilles.
Geralda obtained a Bachelor's degree in International Business Administration in the US and a Master’s degree in International Management at the Oxford Brooks University in England. In 2008, she graduated from the Thomas Jefferson School of Law in the US, with an LLM in International Taxation and Financial Services, with emphasis on Trusts.
She started her professional career in 1998, as an export and advisory consultant for the Benelux markets and Latin America with Fone Range, an international export consultancy company based in the United Kingdom.
In 1999, Geralda returned to Curaçao, where she joined Fortis Fund Services as manager of shareholder services. After 3 years with Fortis, she moved to Amicorp Curaçao NV, taking on a new challenge as marketing and sales account manager. After also being appointed head of the Mexican team there, her duties involved, besides managing and providing services to Mexican and Panamanian based clients, supervision and training of team members, compliance, and strategic decision making. She has also assisted with the creation of support desk and production teams for sales offices in the US (Miami and New York) and Latin America, and supervised implementation of new structures.
In July 2005, Geralda was appointed Managing Director, Latin America for Amicorp Curaçao NV, and became part of the management team of that office. This made her responsible for the supervision, training, and support of 35 team members, representing the production and support teams for Venezuela, Mexico and the Caribbean, Brazil, and Miami/New York.
In January 2008, Geralda relocated to Zürich, Switzerland where she joined the management team of Amicorp Switzerland. There she expanded her career by also taking on responsibility for Amicorp’s marketing efforts with large financial institutions within Switzerland and Portugal.
Geralda speaks fluent Dutch, English, Spanish and Papiamentu.
