Gabriel Uribe was born in Mexico City; he is a lawyer with a Master’s degree from Universidad Anahuac, Mexico and a PhD in corporate law from Universidad Complutense and Universidad Anahuac (a joint program).

Gabriel has been practicing law for plus 18 years, of which 16 years has been spent in various capacities with several financial institutions. For 13 years he was employed in the fideicomiso (trust) department of Banco Nacional de Mexico (Banamex / Citigroup) where he served amongst other positions as the legal fiduciary director. In 2008, he established his own law firm, which specializes in financial and Mexican trust matters.

Gabriel joined Amicorp Mexico as the head of the Amicorp Trust Department in Mexico.

Gabriel speaks Spanish as a native and is fluent in English.
