Elia graduated from the University of Nottingham in the United Kingdom and has an LLB in law. She also has an LLM in commercial and corporate law from the University College of London, UK and an MBA from the Cyprus International Institute of Management, Nicosia, Cyprus.

Prior to joining the Amicorp Group, Elia worked as the head of the corporate law department at Polakis Sarris & Co.; prior to that she worked as an advocate at C. Patsalides & Associates. Elia has more than seven years of legal, corporate services and managerial experience.

Elia is currently Director Legal and Corporate services at Amicorp (Cyprus) Ltd, Nicosia, Cyprus, a position she holds since March 2007. She is responsible for the development, supervision and management of the legal and corporate services department as well as general office management. As part hereof she ensures adherence to compliance procedures and good standing of companies under management offering legal guidance in various areas of Cyprus law.

She is a member of the Cyprus BAR Association and she is fluent in both English and Greek and has moderate knowledge of French and Russian.
