CP is the Director - Structuring and Product Development, Greater China of Amicorp.
CP commenced his career in Hong Kong and China tax services with the Big Four international accounting firms following his graduation from university. He specialises in Hong Kong and China tax, and business regulatory matters. CP lived and worked in Southern China for a number of years, and developed and maintains a good relationship with PRC officials in various cities.
CP’s areas of expertise include:

- Structuring tax efficient cross-border operational structures;
- Performing PRC customs, corporate and turnover tax compliance and efficiency reviews;
- Developing tax efficient inbound investment strategies for foreign investors;
- Developing tax efficient procedures for the remittance of service fees, interest and royalties from China;
- Structuring contract processing and import processing arrangements from a PRC tax, customs and business regulatory perspective;
- Developing tax minimisation strategies for real estate developers;
- Conducting transfer pricing studies and negotiating with the tax authorities;
- Performing customs and tax due diligence reviews for merger and acquisition exercises;
- Personal income tax consultations and designing tax efficient remuneration packages; and
- Assistance in the establishment of Foreign Investment Enterprises and Representative Offices in China, and the provision of related outsourcing services for PRC accounting and tax compliance purposes.

CP has served as a PRC tax advisor for the Hong Kong Trade & Development Council providing advice to Hong Kong SMEs, and as an editorial member of the tax journal China Tax Intelligence published by CCH.
CP is a member of the Hong Kong Institute of Certified Public Accountants and a fellow member of the Association of Certified Chartered Accountants.
